About the Challenge
The event starts off with a 1k fun run for children between 4-8 years old (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
followed by a
5km fun run, both starting at WInterbourne Earls Primary School. The course will take you mostly cross country up and around the Figsbury Rings.
The route covers tarmac, grass & track, with a demanding gradient of 10 degrees, for a distance of 1.2 kilometres, with an accent of 72metres. This will test the stamina of most seasoned runners.
The route will be marshalled thoughout, with regular water stops.
St Johns Ambulance will be present.
The event is covered by the Winterbourne Earls Primary School' Liability Insurance.

The event is open to all ages and abilities, unfortunately the course
is not suitable for wheelchairs or
pushchairs.
All participants are requested to raise a minimum of £25 sponsorship.
Entry fees are:
Juniors £3
Adults (16+) £7
On the day (Adult payment) £8
The 1k run is open to all 4-8 year olds (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) which is the blue route indicated on the course snap shot, and everyone else will run the 5k challenge, indicated by all three colours.

The Figsbury Challenge Twenty10 is being run by the Parents & Teachers Association of the Winterbourne Earls Primary School.
This event is now in it's seventeenth year which has contributed to raising several thousands of pounds for the Salisbury Hospice and the
Winterbourne Earls Primary School.
